Archived The Hoosier Rural Carrier newspapers from 2009 back to 2005.
At the beginning of this time period, The Hoosier Rural Carrier was still being printed on "newsprint" type of paper. In the beginning of 2006, the frequency the INRLCA producted and mailed The Hoosier Rural Carrier was reduced to three times a year.
The editors (co-editors) started using desktop publishing software to produce the state newspaper. (Microsoft Publisher; Pagemaker; Adobe Creative Suite.)
Another change came in mid-2008, when The Hoosier Rural Carrier started being printed on brighter white paper with letter-sized pages. A great improvement and opened up the capability of actully full-color printing on at least a few pages. It was also during this time we started using a local printer (McCormack's Prinitng Impressions, LLC) to the editors.
